Prodigy has signed a new contract with Certiport to provide I.T. Learning Solutions to the Commercial Sector for the whole of the UK. Prodigy will also continue to distribute to both the Academic and Commercial Sectors in The Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and North East England.
As a Certiport Solution Provider, Prodigy is responsible for managing the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Internet Computing and Core Certification (IC3) and the new Microsoft Business Certification programmes
Signing off on the contract was Marie Taylor, Executive Vice President EMEA, Ceriport (left of Picture), Erik Blomquist, Channel Programmes Manager, Certiport (background left of picture), Malcolm Knox, General Manager, Prodigy UK (background right of picture) and Craig Bewley, Chief Executive Officer, Prodigy (right of picture).
Afterward Malcolm Knox said “When Prodigy moved into Scotland in 2004, we did a great job in recruiting over 100 centres across different sectors and geographical areas. Prodigy UK now have the rights to manage IC3, Microsoft Office Specialist and the new Microsoft Business Certification (Office 2007 and Vista) throughout the rest of the United Kingdom for the commercial sector. This is a very exciting time and a time for celebration for all of us at Prodigy. The success of our business is shared with all of our existing partners in the UK and Ireland."
Also, speaking at the signing Craig Bewley, CEO, Prodigy said: "This new agreement between Certiport and Prodigy is a fantastic opportunity for both organisations to substantially grow their businesses together in the UK market.
