IAAP Endorses Microsoft Business Certification
Thursday, 06 November 2008
The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) has officially endorsed the Microsoft Business Certification programme

The IAAP is the world’s leading association for administrative professionals, with nearly 600 chapters and more than 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide.

In today’s highly specialised business climate attaining certification, such as Microsoft Business Certification, helps administrative professionals compete for better jobs.

In addition, a recent survey showed employers are willing to offer up to 11 percent more in base salary to administrative professionals who attain certifications!

“Administrative professionals have always been an important customer for Microsoft Business Certification so it is great to have this relationship to get closer to our key customers,” says Angela Carlson, Product Manager for Microsoft Business Certifications.

“This relationship demonstrates IAAP commitment to their membership success and advancement within a highly competitive work environment,” says William Wall, director for Microsoft certifications. “In today’s fast paced market successful employers understand the value of certification in identifying top performers.”

Administrative professionals advance in the workforce through continuing education, staying current in technology, networking and achieving professional and industry certifications.

“IAAP is very pleased to work together with Microsoft in the launch of their new certification program,” says Kathy Schoneboom CPS/CAP, certification manager for IAAP. “We believe professional certification and industry certification go hand-in-hand for the administrative professional who is serious about their profession.
