Scottish Educator, Deryck Nutley, manager of the IT Providers Consortium in Scotland (ITPCS), has been recognised for his efforts in promoting Digital Literacy throughout Scotland.
Deryck has been selected for induction into this year’s "Champions of Digital Literacy Hall of Fame" and will be up against four others from around the globe for the highest honour of the recognition programme: "The Inspiration Award".
The winner will be announced at certiport's worldwide "Pathways" conference held in Toronto on August 1st.
“The exemplary work of each inductee into the Hall of Fame reminds us that individuals can make a difference in bridging the Digital Divide in their communities and countries,” said Ray Kelly, President and CEO of Certiport. “Mr. Nutley’s push for the creation of a consortium brought digital literacy and global credentials to several Scotland colleges."
